Just when we thought the 1987 classic Predator franchise was dead and in the water, screenwriter Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Once Upon a Time in Mexico) revives the classic tale of unruly aliens who are hunted by an elite group of warriors whose mission is to eliminate their race in the update flick Predators. The new movie, which hits theaters July 7, stars Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne, Oscar winner Adrian Brody and Topher Grace. Fresh off its SXSW debut this weekend in Austin, Texas, check out the trailer below.

Okay, not sure if a Predators remake was necessary but love Rodriguez movies and stars in this version.
