First Look: "The Help"

Take a look at the newest stills from The Help, the big screen adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's 2009 New York Times bestseller chronicling the intertwining relationships and lives of black women who take care of white children in Mississippi during the civil rights movement as told the book's white heroine and budding author Eugenia Skeeter. Skeeter, played by Emma Stone, uncovers some of the town's deepest secrets and unlikely friendship between a trio of courageous women. Co-starring Viola Davis, Sissy Spacek, Cicely Tyson, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Allison Janney, The Help hits theaters August 12, 2011.

Looking great! Glad Viola Davis found a worthy role for her considerable talent.
