You knew it was coming. After last week's discussion of overrated actors became one of our most listened to Cinema in Noir episodes ever, we decide to continue the conversation with a discussion on directors who really get more play than they should.
So who made the cut? You'll have to listen to find out. But, let's just say, there are some you'll be surprised about, others you'll more likely be on board with.
And keeping on that topic, filmmaker Tyler Perry celebrated two decades in the business this week. So, naturally, we salute him with a virtual report card of his failures films.
Also on the show we shared our thoughts on the new trailer for the Tracy Morgan/Jesse Eisenberg-starrer, Why Stop Now, also starring Melissa Leo. You can watch the clip here. We also review Oliver Stone's latest, Savages.
Lastly we chatted about the latest film news, including a promising directorial debut by Regina King.

Yes! I'm glad someone said Baz Luhrmann. I'm Australian and I cannot stand him. His films are so over glamorized and disjointed and there is just a general weirdness about them that doesn't sit right with me. Very interesting blog ladies.
Agreed with everything said about Baz. I can see the direction he wants to take, but I just don't get him at all, and feel that his films are very much like an extended bad MTV video.
