Happy Sunday (aka "Cinema in Noir" day)!
The ladies and I were eager to discuss the latest news and reviews from the past week. And we didn't hold anything back when we shared our take on the lukewarm
Tyler Perry's Alex Cross, which opened at the #5 spot in theaters this week, and director Ava Duvernay's latest drama, Middle of Nowhere.
We also talked about the upcoming film Mr. Perry will be directing and starring in, Single Moms Club, which Tony award-winning Broadway show is making its way to the big screen next, and the newest director set to helm the Janis Joplin biopic starring Amy Adams (and it's a doozy).
TV's "Parenthood" and former "Shameless" writer LaToya Morgan (top, left) also joins us later in the show to chat about the newest season of "Parenthood" and what drew her to both successful family-centered projects.
