Trailer for the Comedy "Movie 43" Features More Than 43 Stars in Just Over Two Minutes

Oh yay, another movie that has 99 stars in it! It's basely called Movie 43 and, in case you're keeping score, this is the second ensemble comedy in which Halle Berry in less than two years (what a shame).

But actually this one seems kinda goofy. in a Scary Movie kind of way. If you're into that....

Here's a little about it:

Warning: This movie is not for the weak-stomached, faint of heart, or easily offended. In Movie 43, comedy is served steaming hot by director Peter Farrelly of The Farrelly Brothers (Something About Mary, Dumb & Dumber) in one of the most original comedies ever made. Starring Elizabeth Banks, Kristen Bell, Halle Berry, Leslie Bibb, Kate Bosworth, Gerard Butler, Bobby Cannavale, Kieran Culkin, Josh Duhamel, Anna Faris, Richard Gere, John Hodgman, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Justin Long, Stephen Merchant, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloë Grace Moretz, Chris Pratt, Liev Schreiber, Seann William Scott, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, and Kate Winslet, Movie 43 is jaw-dropping, uproarious, outrageous fun.

Which doesn't really tell you much except that everyone who's anyone (and some people who are no one) is in it. I know we're all supposed to be team Emma Stone (she's okay, but I can take her or leave her), but Naomi Watts is the one that stands out most here to me. Perhaps because she's such a dramatic actress that it's hilarious to see her be so silly and mean. I think that's kind of perfect.

Now, as for the rest of these parodies featured here (which are hard to decipher in the rapid pace they're shown here) may fly a little over your head. But maybe you'll be laughing too hard at Naomi Watts, I don't know. It should also be mentioned that there are twelve directors for this project (including Banks and Farrelly) seven writers. I don't even know what to say about that except this could be a big ole mess, but maybe that's the point. Messy funny? Is that a thing now?

In any case, check out the trailer below. Movie 43 hits theaters January 25, 2013.
