A Recap of the Sundance Film Festival on Today's 'CINEMA IN NOIR'

Travis Hopson from the blog Punch Drunk Critics calls in to this week's "Cinema in Noir" to chat about his experience at this year's Sundance Film Festival--the highs, the lows, and the standing ovation for FRUITVALE. He also confirmed some of my fears for the film LOVELACE, even saying the movie is not as nuanced as it pretends to me. And he lauded the Isaiah Washington starrer, BLUE CAPRICE (pictured above).

In addition to the Sundance recap, the ladies and I also share which movies we're most excited about this year, including TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE, OLDBOY and CATCHING FIRE, and get down to the nitty gritty of the CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON sequel that's in the works.
