The Make-Up And Hair Category Is Easily The Most Exciting Of All The 2014 BAFTA Nominees

You ever notice how no award list is accurate unless it exactly imitates a particular critic's point of view? I had to chuckle to myself this morning as I perused some of the reactions to this latest list of 2014 film honorees--this time from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). The academy revealed their top movie picks, which should surprise no one if you've been following the flurry of award lists this season.

A major oversight on this list? The absence of The Wind Rises. That's kind of an abomination in and of itself. Was it not eligible? Who knows--especially with the constant tailoring of eligibility (read: opportunistic) requirements. But is it weird that I am most excited about the makeup & hair nominees? I honestly think it's the tightest category listed here--a real nail-biter that could really go to any one of those nominees.Christian Bale's comb-over and Amy Adams' Farrah Fawcett 'do from American Hustle can really be their own categories, seriously.

LOL, I think that is the tightest most interesting race. This has been a serious hair and wardrobe year at the movies.
