Holy Hotness! Check Out the Sultry New Trailer for Zane's ADDICTED, Starring Sharon Leal, Boris Kodjoe and William Levy

The sultry new trailer for the film adaption of Zane's erotic thriller, ADDICTED, has arrived and it is pretty much everything the premise promised and more (because we also get a peak at half naked Boris Kodjoe, William Levy and Tyson Beckford--this is the dream, y'all).

From the trailer it looks like a combination of Temptation and Unfaithful with a hint of Obsessed, which means it's going to be a glorious disaster or sexy personified. In any case, I can't look away from it. (I've watched the trailer twice already, and will likely watch it again--I'm guessing this is how the obsession begins...). Of course, there are serious themes in the story that touch on sex addiction and fidelity, but it's hard to tell behind all the heavy breathing and sexual pleasure going on. For more background info on the movie, check my original post about it here. More from the press notes:

Give into temptation this October with Lionsgate's upcoming provocative thriller
ADDICTED! Everything appears to be perfect on the outside, but Zoe Reynard is battling a deep, dark secret that is about to consume her life. Drawn by an intense inner desire, Zoe risks everything as she pursues a secretive life and heads down a perilous path she may not survive.

I'm also glad to see Sharon Leal in a mainstream lead role. She's one of those actresses who I think has yet to show her full potential, but this role may at least catapult her on the radar for casting directors. If anyone could find some nuance in what could be considered a one-dimensional character about a woman torn between her addiction and her marriage, it could be her. Tasha Smith and Emayatzy Corinealdi are also featured in the trailer as Zoe's (Leal) therapist and confidante, respectively.

Check it out:

ADDICTED opens nationwide on October 10th.
