Oh, I can't wait to see what people have to say about this one. The on-screen bromance between Seth Rogen and James Franco continues with THE INTERVIEW, a comedy in which the two play amateur reporters who stumble upon an opportunity to interview none other than North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un (otherwise known as Dennis Rodman's BFF), which leads to much more than they bargained. Read more in the synopsis:
Rogen re-teamed with his writing partner Evan Goldberg (This Is the End, Superbad) for this latest project (which the two both directed). Lizzy Caplan is also in the film, along with Randall Park (soon to be seen in ABC's groundbreaking series, Fresh Off the Boat later this year). He plays Jong-un, which actually reminds of the inspiring piece the actor wrote for KoreAm. Read it here.
The trailer for THE INTERVIEW recently landed, and it looks like a cross between Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator and Pineapple Express. I'll let that comparison settle as you watch the clip:
So, I laughed. But maybe it's because Rogen always makes me laugh? Let me know what you think.
THE INTERVIEW hits theaters October 10th.

The poster is genius! I love Rogen, and Franco, while a douche, works well with Seth so I'm in.
