Netflix, the streaming service of life, is--as the kids say--killing the game. And now they've brought together one of the hottest directors and the unofficial James Bond himself for a project that will likely catapult them into the stratosphere. Or so that's the goal anyway. BEASTS OF NO NATION, which will world premiere at the Venice Film Festival and screen at Toronto Film Festival, is the upcoming drama starring Elba that is based on the the acclaimed novel by Nigerian author Uzodinma Iweala. Thoughts? BEASTS OF NO NATION will open in 19 landmark markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Seattle, San Francisco and San Diego on October 16 and worldwide on Netflix on the same day.
