2016 is finally coming to a close, after torturing us for the past 12 months. But at least cinema brought its A-game, for the most part (sure, there were some duds, but there were more good films this year than, say, last year). As some of you may already know, I participate in my friend and kickass cinematographer Cybel Martin's N.F.O.T.D. (aka "New Film of The Day"), for which we document each film we watch that is new to us throughout one calendar year. And I've seen a whopping 190 new films this year.
